FINE AND RARE BOOKLET PANE WITH BOTTOM LEFT STAMP CONTAINING THE "WEALTH COMMON-" ERROR.

Only 24 were issued, which would have been six complete booklets. We know of three intact booklets, including the one offered in lot 3111, which reduces the number of panes available to collectors. With 1980 P.F. certificate. Scott Catalogue value has remained unchanged for at least 15 years. (Image)

PHILIPPINES, 1939, 2c Rose, Booklet Pane of Six, Bottom Left Stamp "WEALTH COMMON-" Ovpt. Error (433b). Unexploded booklet containing four panes, each with bottom left stamp showing the error, Mint N.H. with interleaving, booklet cover free of creases near staples

VERY FINE. AN EXTRAORDINARY COMPLETE BOOKLET CONTAINING ONE OF THE RAREST ERRORS OF THE PHILIPPINES.

This error booklet was discovered by the collector in an unopened post office pack of booklets. The pack contained one other error booklet, which was offered in our 1996 Rarities of the World sale. In addition to these two, the Laila collection (Siegel Sale 974, lot 865) contained a complete booklet. We believe these three comprise the entire population of complete booklets in existence. Only 24 panes were issued in total, which would have been six complete booklets.

FINE APPEARING AND EXTREMELY RARE INTACT BOOKLET PANE OF SIX OF THE 2-CENT "VICTORY" OVERPRINT.

Only 28 panes were produced. The census compiled by Geoffrey Brewster and published in Possessions lists 18 full examples. We have not offered another example in almost ten years.

VERY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL AND SCARCE EXAMPLE OF THE 6-CENTAVO DARK BROWN "VICTORY" OVERPRINT.

Only 206 were produced. Each of the few examples we have offered over the last 20 years had tropicalized gum or interleaving adhering to the gum. The census compiled by Geoffrey Brewster and published in Possessions lists 47 known examples.
