FINE. ONE OF ONLY TWO EXAMPLES OF THIS ISSUE KNOWN ON COVER.

An item of exceptional rarity as there are only two known examples recorded (the other being a full cover). Thomas B. Morton & Co. was a mail boat company that operated from 1867-72 with headquarters at Constantinople and Kustendje. Mail was given to them after the departure of Lloyd ships as they only called weekly.
