Worldwide Internet/Mail Sale - March 20, 2024

Welcome to our March 20th auction with over 7,200 worldwide lots to choose from. This sale offers a tremendous range of quality stamps and postal history. Here are some of the highlights:
  • Zeppelin covers from many countries including some from lesser seen places like Danzig, Ireland, Gibraltar and Luxembourg.
  • Extensive classic Canada including two different 12 Penny Black Specimens, mint #7, 8a, 9 and 27c (all with Certificates). There is a mint block of 6 of #28 tht was once in the Fred Jarrett collection.
  • United States with many key 19th Century items. Lot 3529 is a fabulous set of 9 diff large Die Essays of the Trans-Mississippi issue.
  • Br. Commonwealth with many good country sections of sets and singles including Cyprus, Falkland Islands, India and the Rhodesias.
  • Excellent France with the good early Airmail stamps and lots of unused postcards.
  • Strong sections of Germany and German areas with sets, singles, covers and postal history.
  • Newfoundland has a good array of better items including some of the rare Pence issues. The Airmails are also worth noting as there are imperf pairs, proofs, and a mint NH example of #C5.
  • Terrific worldwide covers, postal history and postcards from stampless to modern.
  • Hundreds of larger size lots including collections, accumulations, boxes full, and estate lots.
  • A good section of coins with lots of gold and silver items.
Don't forget that there is No Buyer's Fee at Vance Auctions and bidding is in inexpensive Canadian dollars. There is no extra charge for credit card use.
