Vance Auctions Ltd. Sale - 364

Worldwide Internet/Mail Sale - September 27, 2023

Welcome to Sale #364 slated for September 27, 2023. We have processed many nice estate lots, collections, and accumulations over the summer. As a result you will find all kinds of interesting items including better calibre singles, sets, varieties, and covers in the September 27th auction. Here are some of the highlights:
  • A great section of early Canada with Pence, Cents, Large and Small Queens, and Jubilees to $5.
  • Many scarcer modern Canada errors including Inverted Seaways both mint and used, a mint Missing Moose error, and a $5 La Mauricie used with dark blue inscriptions omitted (only 2 known used).
  • A strong section of Newfoundland with many key stamps including a rare mint #16 with Certificate and some nice "Krippener" Registered covers from the turn of the Century.
  • Good United States with many key items having Certificates including an unused block of #1 and mint singles of #70b and #197.
  • A nice group of Italy stamps, postcards, and postal history.
  • Interesting Austria including some rarities from Lombardy-Venetia, all with Certificates.
  • A great Section of Great Britain with better stamps, scarce Specimen overprints, booklets, postcards, Mulreadys, and hand-illustrated covers.
  • Hundreds of larger lots including collections, accumulations, box lots and dealer stocks. These lots should prove profitable for collectors and dealers alike.
  • Fine world covers, postal history, and postcards, many of which are pictured.
Don't forget that there is No Buyer's Fee at Vance Auctions and bidding is in inexpensive Canadian dollars. There is no extra charge for credit card use. Bidding information displayed at Stamp Auction Network for our auction lots is now being updated. Bidding on items in the sale will continue until Midnight EDT on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.

Please note that bids come in from many sources in addition to SAN (including e-mail, telephone, fax, mail, and our own web site). Even if your bid is 'green' at SAN when bidding ends, you could still be outbid. If your bid turns 'red' after Midnight on the last night of bidding, it means that a higher bid was received from another source before Midnight. Auction results for Sale #364 will be posted at www.vanceauctions.com on the evening of Saturday, September 30th.

Good luck with your bids!
