1611 cover image1945 (Oct.), Shantung, "August 1", The People's Liberation Army Day, 10c blue and deep blue shades (Yang EC60, a), a stupendous block of ten (2 x 5), with wide spacing between the third and fourth rows (the sheets were printed in separate operations in horizontal rows of three, resulting in irregular printings with differing impressions and shades), lightly canceled by "Shandong/Luhsien" c.d.s. on reverse of envelope to Da Lien, Fine to Very Fine. A rare and spectacular multiple, possibly the largest known.,

The Shen Zengua collection had a block of nine, which was stated to be the largest block known to date when it was sold (China Guardian, Nov. 7, 2005, lot 6415).
