Great Britain
LotNo. Symbol CatNo. Lot Description
2178   imageGreat Britain, A Nearly Complete Collection, 1840-1997, An intact collection, entirely in mounts and identified by Scott number in an old Minkus Supreme Global album; to give you an idea of how complete the collection is, the only missing stamps through King George VI (not counting Officials) are the ones you'd expect: Scott 31, 47, 74, 75, 90-93, 110, 123 & 176. Issues through KGVI are 99% used, while QEII issues are apparently complete and 99% mint NH to 1995, including Regionals and Channel Islands; back-of-the-book issues are equally impressivewith more than 50 Officials and nearly complete Offices Abroad, the latter just about all mint. Condition of the early Queen Victoria issues is mixed, with very little better than Fine, but everything else is generally clean and F-VF. A truly impressive lot. Shipping charges apply - weight 8.6 lbs.
