39   imageExceptional Postcard Collection/Dealer Stock. Approximately 900 cards, covering many different areas including: World Fairs, the West, Signed Artists, Santa, Railroads, Publishers, Patriotic, Animals, Advertising, Holidays, Novelty, plus many more themes. This is not a haphazard accumulation, but a collection of cards that were, for the most part, selected because of their eye and popular appeal. Would be the basis for a new collection or a wonderful stock to offer at shows or online. There are a great number of cards that would fall in the $5 to $20 price range. In short, a perfect dealer lot. Shipping charges apply - weight 10.8 lbs. (Image) (Image2) (Image3) (Image4) (Image5) (Image6) (Image7) (Image8) (Image9)

43   imageTemperance and Anti-Smoking Postcard Collection. A.T. Cook was a successful dealer in garden seeds in Hyde Park, NY around the turn of the century. Along with his artist friend, J.O. Hulbert, he published numerous series of postcards espousing living a clean and peaceful life, without smoking or drinking. The postcards are all done in a folk-art style, and many bear strong images and texts to drive home his thoughts on the subject (skeletons, devils, saloon keepers, etc.). The collection includes about 150+ cards. The photos shown here only begin to tell the story of these incredible cards, which were collected over many years and would be almost impossible to duplicate.
