28 Stamp Holder, 14K Gold Enameled imageStamp Holder, 14K Gold Enameled. 31 x 25 mm., in the form of an envelope, with red enameled 2-cent Washington "stamp" and black enameled circular date stamp reads "NEW YORK / 10 / 6 PM / 1913." Reverse features black enameled circular date stamp reading "PO / 10-24-13 / REC'D." Hinged top opens with flap embossed "PAT. JUN 24-90 / 14K." 29 stamp holder and match safe, sterling si imageStamp Holder and Match Safe, Sterling Silver, Circa 1895. 37 x 66 mm. Attractive ornate embossed design that includes a secret panel marked "Stamps" that slides up to reveal a compartment for postage. Hallmarked "STERLING" with #5444 and 4-leaf clover maker's mark (Howard Sterling Co. in Providence, RI).
