Daniel F. Kelleher Auctions, LLC Sale - 757

The Crimson Collection - June 15-17, 2021

Contains numerous high-quality examples from Postmasters’ Provisionals to Back-of-the-Book, the latter highlighted by an unprecedented number of Revenue Issues, ranging from the uncommon to the rare. With items that will satisfy every budget, from three-figures up to six-figures per lot, every collector can participate and take home a part of the Crimson Collection.

The front-of- the-book contains seldomly encountered items such as August Issue Premiere Gravures, Inverted Centers, Bank Note Special Printings, Rare Coils, Officials and Newspaper Issues, with Back-of-the-Book including Confederates and some U.S. Possessions as well. The scope and depth of this collection is astounding, given the relatively short period of time over which it was formed.

Based upon StampAuctionNetwork (SAN) search results, over 5% of the lots are in the top 5 examples recorded by quality, and 2% are of the finest obtainable.
