LotNo. Symbol Lot Description Estimate in AU$'s
1101 og/nh image1905-13 'POSTAGE' Crown/A Watermark ½d blue-green Watermark Sideways marginal block of 4 from the right-hand side of the sheet with Mixed Double Perforations at Right between the right-hand units & margin creating an Irregular Compound Perf 11x12½x11x11 vertical pair ACSC V26 (SG 446), the upper units with a small hinge remainder, the lower units unmounted, Cat $1000+ (£60+) for mounted. Gibbons does not differentiate between Compound Perfs and the much scarcer Mixed Perfs. The original Perf 11 row at right was misplaced and corrected with a Perf 12½ row immediately to the left. Although similar to the previous Lot, the left-hand units here have not been cut by the perfs at left and do not have official repair strips, suggesting that this block may be from a different sheet.

1103 og image1905-13 'POSTAGE' Crown/A Watermark 1d rose-red marginal single from the right-hand side of the sheet with Mixed Double Perforations at Right between the stamp & margin creating an Irregular Compound Perf 12½x11x½12x12 ACSC V48 (SG 447), minor gum bend, lightly mounted in the margin only, the stamp unmounted, under-catalogued at $200 (£100) for mounted. Gibbons does not differentiate between Compound Perfs and the much scarcer Mixed Perfs. The original Perf 12½ row at right was misplaced and has been corrected with a Perf 11 row immediately to the left. The ACSC states that mint examples survive from at least two sheets, but only five pieces - the last two columns in a complete sheet; a pair & strip of 3 ex Rodney Perry (not seen since the 1990s); and two singles (one of which is this stamp) - are known.
