27 F image1850-51 Sydney Views 2d Prussian blue Plate II (Horizontal Lined Background, Dated Bale & Dots in the Corner Stars) as SG 21-24 group but a slightly less well-defined Intermediate Impression, a huge corner example from the upper-right of the sheet with margins good to large and complete outer framelines at top & right, light BN '3' cancel of Windsor, Cat £200. A superb gem for the connoisseur. Gibbons list early, intermediate & later states for Plate I but only early & worn states for Plate II. We urge them to add Plate II Intermediate State, This stamp is clearly not a worn impression.

34 F image1851-55 Laureates 6d van Dyke brown on Medium White Wove Paper with 'WALLS' at Right SG 72a, margins just touching - at upper-left - to close, tiny fault at the lower-right corner, fine strike of the first-type BN '50' of Albury well clear of the variety, Cat £2750. 'Van Dyke brown' is a rather unhelpful descriptor for this 'black-brown' shade. This example is actually in a very rich shade: most stamps offered as 'van Dyke' are the more usual paler browns.
