5 c. gebranntes Siena, ein schönes leicht überfärbtes Exemplar mit breitrandig, Teile von zwei Nachbarmarken zeigend, gebunden an Briefbogen mit angrenzendem roten "SANTIAGO 11 DBRE.." nach Valparaiso. Äußerst tadellos und frisch (Marke zur Inspektion abgehoben und ersetzt). Ein schönes und seltenes Ganzstück. Befund BPA (1994)

Charged in France with "21" decimes. Very fine and fresh. A most attractive and extremely rare letter, one of very few recorded of the Gillet issue to Europe.

5 c. gebrannte Siena, ein sehr schönes Exemplar mit breitrandigem Rand, gebunden an Brief Bogen mit nebenstehendem roten "SANTIAGO 20 OCRE 54" und doppelter Linie "PANAMA TRANSIT" nach Bordeaux. In Frankreich mit "21" Decimes frankiert. Sehr tadellos und frisch. Ein sehr schöner und sehr seltener Brief, einer der ganz wenigen, die von der Gillet-Ausgabe nach Europa aufgezeichnet wurden.

Unterfrankiert mit 10 Centavos, verrechnet mit "20" in Handschrift und Kreisstempel in rot. Eine sehr seltene mehrfache Einheit auf Ganzbrief. Befund BPA (1992).

5 c. gebranntes Siena in Kombination mit Second London Printing 5 c. rot-braun auf gebläut, beide breitrandig, gebunden mit leichter 7-zeiliger Zielmarke mit nebenstehendem "CONCEPCION"-Stempel auf Briefbogen, datiert 24. März 1856 und gebilligt 'Polynesian' nach Valparaiso. Das Ganzstück gereinigt und Adresse teilweise verbessert, noch tadellos. Eine außerordentlich seltene Kombination. 5 c. tief schokoladenbraun, waagerechtes Paar, die linke Marke oben knapp frei, sonst gut bis sehr breitrandig mit Teilen zweier Nachbarmarken links, durch sieben Ränder gezielt auf Briefbogen mit angrenzendem roten "SANTIAGO 31 JULIO 55" nach Valparaiso gebunden. Sehr tadellos und sehr selten. Uns ist nur eine weitere derartige Frankatur bekannt.

5 c. deep chocolate brown with full to large margins including sheet margin with inscription "la direccion y" at base, in combination with horizontal pair 5 c. burnt sienna, right stamp tiny touched point at top, otherwise full to large margins including 11 mm sheet margin at left, tied by target to entire letter, dated "Tome, Agosto 4 1855" and endorsed "Per Palmena", to Valparaiso. Very fine and fresh. One of the most outstanding letters of Chilean philately, bearing marginal copies of both Gillet Recess values and transported by ship from a small town which possessed no datestamp at that time. 5 c. tiefe braune Schokolade mit vollem bis breitem Rand einschließlich Bogenrand mit Aufschrift "la direccion y" unten, in Kombination mit waagerechtem Paar 5 c. gebrannte Siena, rechte Marke winzige berührte Spitze oben, sonst vollrändig bis breitrandig einschließlich 11 mm Bogenrand links, mit Zielscheibe an Ganzem Brief gebunden, datiert "Tome, Agosto 4 1855" und gebilligt "Per Palmena", nach Valparaiso. Sehr tadellos und frisch. Einer der herausragendsten Briefe der chilenischen Philatelie, mit Randkopien der beiden Gillet Recess-Werte und per Schiff aus einer kleinen Stadt befördert, die damals noch keinen Stempel besaß. Signiert Alberto Diena mit Befund (1963) und Befund RPSL (1981) (Scott 4a+4)

Lithografierte 5 c. braun mit dem dramatischen lithografischen Transfer-Fehler 'gequetschter CENTAVOS', bei dem nur das "S" von "CENTAVOS" zu sehen ist und die Basis (Blank 5/Vt ½), so dass eine 'Zwergmarke' von nur 21 statt 23 mm Höhe übrig bleibt. Schöne frische Farbe und vollrandig bis breitrandig, leicht entwertet durch die Zielscheibe. Eine sehr tadellose und sehr seltene Marke. Befund BPA (1992) (Scott 7 var)
