1865, 3 Schilling prussian blue, two single values, fresh colours and good margins on all sides, neatly with multiple line cancellation on envelope, detached for inspection, with adjacent origin L1 "HELGOLAND." to Bärenklau per Guben. On the reverse, transit cancellation of the local mail and Prussian postoffice of Hamburg and issue cancellation of Guben. This postage paid only occurs during the summer months, during which a seapost surcharge of 2 schillings was levied. One of the most attractive and highest quality Helgoland letters, sign. Friedl and Jakubek BPP with certificate (1984) and certificate Huylmans BPP (2024)

1865, 3 Schilling preußischblau, zwei Einzelwerte, farbfrisch und allseits gut gerandet, sauber mit mehrfach aufgesetztem Strichstempel auf Briefkuvert, zur Kontrolle gelöst, mit nebengesetztem Herkunfts-L1 "HELGOLAND." nach Bärenklau per Guben. Rückseitig Durchgangsstempel des Stadtpost- und preußischen Postamtes von Hamburg sowie Ausgabestempel von Guben. 3 Schilling ultramarin, farbfrisch, mit gutem Teilabschlag des Rundstempels "(HELI)GOLAND SP 66", diverse, meist Randkorrekturen, ein optisch sehr schönes und attraktives Stück, u.a. sign. Lemberger BPP

3 Schilling ultramarine blue, two fresh colours and well perforated single values, detached for inspection and reattached slightly offset, neatly with upward and adjacent blue origin L1 "HELGOLAND." on double heavy white envelope to Berlin. The letter was only correctly franked to Hamburg with 6 schillings, so the Hamburg city post office added the corresponding script L2 "Unzureichend frankirt.". The total postage to Berlin was the equivalent of 1½ Sgr. per loth, plus 3 Sgr. postage and 1 Sgr. DÖPV surcharge for the insufficient postage paid, therefore marked "5½" (Sgr.) on the right below the stamps (Sgr.) (equivalent to 7 1/3 Hamburg schillings), with the transit cancellation of the Hamburg local mail and Prussian post office and the issue stamp on the reverse. The reverse seal cut out, slightly traces of transport without significance, a wonderful and high-quality letter, we have no other registered in this form, certificates Jakubek (1990) and Huylmans BPP (2023)

3 Schilling ultramarinblau, zwei farbfrische und gut gezähnte Einzelwerte, zur Kontrolle gelöst und leicht versetzt wieder aufgebracht, sauber mit auf- und nebengesetztem, blauen Herkunfts-L1 "HELGOLAND." auf doppelt schwerem, weißen Briefkuvert nach Berlin. Der Brief war lediglich bis Hamburg korrekt mit 6 Schilling frankiert, daher vom Hamburger Stadtpostamt mit entsprechendem Schreibschrift-L2 "Unzureichend frankirt." versehen. Das Gesamtporto nach Berlin betrug pro Loth umgerechnet 1½ Sgr., dazu 3 Sgr. Porto sowie 1 Sgr. DÖPV-Zuschlag für die unzureichende Frankatur, daher entsprechend rechts unterhalb der Marken mit "5½" (Sgr.) austaxiert (entspricht 7 1/3   Hamburger Schilling), rückseitig Durchgangsstempel des Stadtpost- und preußischen Postamtes von Hamburg sowie Ausgabestempel. Das rückseitige Siegel ausgeschnitten, leichte Beförderungsspuren ohne Bedeutung, ein wunderbarer und hochwertiger Brief, wir haben in dieser Form keinen weiteren registriert, Fotoatteste Jakubek (1990) sowie Huylmans BPP (2023)

1867, ½ Schilling dunkelbläulichgrün/karmin, farbfrisch und ausgabetypisch durchstochen, sauber ungebraucht, winziger Alterspunkt unten, sonst tadellos, u.a. sign. Lemberger BPP

1867/68, perforated issue ½ shilling dark bluish green/carmine as well as 1 shilling and 2 shillings, glued as strips slightly overlapping, all fresh colours, the 1 shilling tiny and insignificant pressure mark, otherwise all well rouletted and perfect, with clean upward and adjacent oblong stamp "HELGOLAND." on cover front to Pomaz, Hungary with red boxed cancel "HAMBURG / 29 6 68 / FRANCO" on face. The front especially at bottom right with backglued missing parts. An attractive and scarce three-colour franking of the 1st issue, we have registered this combination only a few times, including only this one in exchange traffic with Hungary, certificates Lemberger BPP (1986) and Heitmann BPP (2023)
