1929, World Tour, postage paid Friedrichshafen to Tokyo, card with Heinrich von Stephan 60 and 80 Pfennig Commemoratives + 60 Pfennig on chalky paper as postage paid and arrival postmark in black on face, addressed to Görlitz. One stamp (postage stamp) with corner error, otherwise in good condition. Only the Zeppelin Commemorative stamps were to be used on this trip, probably unique in this combination with three different "Stephan" stamps

1929, World Tour, stage Friedrichshafen - Friedrichshafen, picture postcard with block of four Zeppelin Commemorative stamp (postage stamp) 2 Marks with cancellation "FRIEDRICHSHAFEN LUFTPOST 15.AUG.29" and adjacent confirmation postmark in red as well as red routing stamp and handwritten signature of Dr Hugo Eckener, addressed to Reydt with two different arrival datestamps of Friedrichshafen on the reverse. The card and the postage paid are in perfect condition, despite the overfranking by one stamp a decorative and scarce card in this combination, certificate Sieger A.I.E.P. (2014)

Note: Dr Hugo Eckener personally led the world tour and was at the helm himself in important situations. It was he who continued the work of Count Zeppelin and made it a success.

1929, Weltrundfahrt, Etappe Friedrichshafen - Friedrichshafen, Ansichtskarte mit Viererblock Zeppelin-Sondermarke 2 Mark mit Stempel "FRIEDRICHSHAFEN LUFTPOST 15.AUG.29" und nebengesetztem Bestätigungsstempel in Rot sowie roter Leitstempel und eigenhändige Unterschrift von Dr. Hugo Eckener, adressiert nach Reydt mit rückseitig zwei verschiedenen Ankunftsstempeln von Friedrichshafen. Die Karte und die Frankatur ist in einwandfreier Erhaltung, trotz der Überfrankatur um eine Mark ein dekorative und in dieser Kombination seltene Karte, Fotoattest Sieger A.I.E.P. (2014)

Notiz: Dr. Hugo Eckener leitete persönlich die Weltrundfahrt und stand in wichtigen Situationen selbst am Steuerruder. Er war es, der das Werk des Grafen Zeppelin fortführte und zum Erfolg brachte.

1929, world tour, stage Tokyo - Los Angeles, private photo card with Commemorative stamp (postage stamp) 2 marks with on-board postmark of 24 August and uncancelled Japanese franking as well as USA postage paid stamp 9 cents with cancellation "LOS ANGELES AUG.26." and American confirmation stamp, addressed to crew member Hans Ludwig in Friedrichshafen. On the upward side of the card are the signatures of Dr Eckener, Captain Lehmann and the later Captain Max Pruss, on the reverse the on-board postmark of 24 August and the second cancellation of the American confirmation stamp, in good condition. Decorative and in this combination certainly unique card of the world tour, signed Alberto Diena and H.W. Sieger with detailed certificate (2001) (Michel 30e).

1929, Weltrundfahrt, Etappe Tokio - Los Angeles, private-Fotokarte mit Sondermarke 2 Mark mit Bordpoststempel vom 24.8. und nicht entwerteter japanischer Frankatur sowie USA Freimarke 9 Cent mit Stempel "LOS ANGELES AUG.26." und amerikanischem Bestätigungsstempel, adressiert an das Besatzungsmitglied Hans Ludwig in Friedrichshafen. Vorderseitig auf der Karte sind die Unterschriften von Dr. Eckener, Kapitän Lehmann und dem späteren Kapitän Max Pruss, rückseitig noch der Bordpoststempel vom 24.8. und zweiter Abschlag des amerikanischen Bestätigungsstempels, gute Erhaltung. Dekorative und in dieser Kombination sicherlich einmalige Karte der Weltrundfahrt, signiert Alberto Diena und H.W. Sieger mit ausführlichem Fotoattest (2001) (Mi. 30e)
