10062   image1930 LUFTSCHIFFBAU ZEPPELIN issues, highly diverse group of 9 covers or cards (incl. a front) on pages, franked with the unoverprinted, overprinted and surcharged issues (Scott 4CL1-5, 4LC8-10) paying the special Zeppelin surtax, plus used 4CL6 and mint 4CL7, the stamps tied mostly by the Condor Syndicate Rio cds (one with the scarcer Sao Paulo), most with the “American” cachet incl. one flown to HAVANA, CUBA, another flown only from Rio to Recife, and the front is a MIXED FRANKING with 4CL8-10 plus pair of Argentina 20c Zeppelin ovpts, great foundation for a one-frame exhibit of these issues, very fine overall (Scott ca. $2’150+) (Est. € 800/1’200)
