1991 image1914 ( Sep.) 20 Pf. ultramarine overprinted TOGO ANGLO - FRENCH OCCUPATION, overprint 3mm spacing and 5mm off centre to the left, horizontal pair on envelope as correct 2d franking for a standard letter to Wales. The Sender was a British nurse serving with the Togoland Field Force. The stamps are slightly tropical but otherwise clean and fresh, the flap on the reverse shows minor signs of eagerly anticipated mail being opened.
