1853, "Courier" 4 d. orange, plate II, intermediate impression, with small triangular punch 1.5mm at center left, used on small piece, four good to large margins, fantastic colour, tied by "18" numeral in black, with framed "CAMP TOWN / 18 May 1855" datestamp in black alongside, attractive and rare example; the triangular punch hole was a security measure used on very few Queen Victoria Courier 1 d. blue, 4 d. orange and the Chalon 4 d. blue, all recorded with the "18" cancel; a great rarity and more so being tied to piece.
