1015 ogbl Image1904, 2c Rose, "Panama" Reading Down and Up (1d). Positions 1-2/11-12, block of four with top left corner sheet selvage, Position 1 is the variety, in addition Position 11 shows Inverted "V" for "A" and Position 12 shows Inverted "N", a couple trivial h.r. (gum is not tropicalized)

FINE-VERY FINE. A HANDSOME AND RARE 2-CENT 1904 ISSUE BLOCK WITH THE "PANAMA" READING DOWN AND UP VARIETY.

Positions 31/41/51, vertical strip of three, Panama reading up on the top two stamps, and down on the bottom stamp, tied by purple bars cancel and matching La Boca July 2, 1904 circular datestamp on cover to the U.S. Consul in Colon, Cristobal circular datestamp of the same date also ties the strip, opened at left

VERY FINE. ONE OF ONLY TWO COVERS WITH "PANAMA" READING UP ON TOP STAMP AND DOWN ON BOTTOM STAMP.
