83 F   Egypt, 1866-1926, fascinating, superbly annotated reference collection, in a style of a by-gone era. Begins with genuine plate proofs of Scott 1, 3-6 and 7, plus genuine issued examples, including mint 1(2), 2 and 4-6. The forgeries receive detailed analysis, using Earee as the primary basis, but also noting many unlisted types. Also includes the 1867 and 1872 pyramid issues, the 1879 5pa and 10pa surcharges, the 1880 postage dues, even the 1926 Port Fouad issue, including a genuine, signed example of the 5m value. Lovely lot and excellent study tool, Fine to Very Fine, examine.
