One of the real pleasures of this business is the times when you can prepare a sale for auction and find yourself completely fascinated and absorbed by it's content. It seems that you are experiencing the entire history of the subject. Such is the case with the "Delta" Collection. Formed by one of America's foremost students of Egyptian Philately, this true "old-time" collection includes items from many of the legendary collections of the past, such as the 1954 "Palace" Collection, the 1961 "Byam" Sale and others. The increasingly popularity of Egyptian Philately will soon add "ex-Delta" to it's list of important sales.

As a final thought, we believe it is appropriate to commend two contemporary publications on the subject. Both the Nile Post Catalog and Mr. Peter Smith's amazing work "Egypt Stamps & Postal History, A Philatelic Treatise", each deserve praise for being fine examples of the pinnacle of philatelic publishing.
