VERY FINE. ONE OF THE MOST SPECTACULAR BEER STAMP ESSAYS EXTANT. THE UNDERPRINT CONCEPT IS SIMILAR TO THE 1869 PICTORIAL SAFETY PAPER ESSAYS SUBMITTED BY THE NATIONAL BANK NOTE COMPANY.

This essay lacks the BEP imprint, and the stamp design color is Black, not the issued color of Blue. Illustrated in Turner. (Image)
