Jan. 16" (1851) integral-rate circular datestamp with second clear strike on blue folded letter to Wilkes Barre Pa., light vertical folds do not affect stamp, fresh and Very Fine, ex Brown and Wagshal, with 1991 note from Dr. Amonette on back, this plate variety is known to occur in the ninth vertical row of the left pane and varies in intensity from top to bottom with the top positions more pronounced (Image)
