Route agent's blue circular datestamp and "10" in circle rate handstamp perfectly struck on blue folded letter from Rochester to New York City, accompanied by an Apr. 1849 folded letter from Buffalo to Boston with same strike in red (dateless), matching "10" rate and red Western Hotel forwarder's handstamp, Very Fine, a beautiful pair of covers, there was no "Albany & Buffalo" railroad, but this marking was used on the lines serving Rochester, Buffalo and Albany, ex Hahn, with 2011 P.F. certificates (Image)
