FINE. THIS IS THE EARLIEST RECORDED DATE OF USE FOR A JAMAICA STAMP. A MAJOR RARITY AND KEY TO BUILDING A WORLD-CLASS COLLECTION OF JAMAICA.

The First Issue of Jamaica was issued in Kingston on Nov. 23. British packet mail would have been cancelled and bagged on the 24th. The only opportunity for an earlier date would be a first day used within Jamaica. To date, no examples have been recorded.
