357 ng ImageBRITISH COLUMBIA & VANCOUVER ISLAND, 1865, 5c Rose (3, SG 11). Unused (regummed), large margins all around, fresh color and crisp impression, central vertical crease, thin along left margin (not mentioned on certificate)

VERY FINE APPEARANCE. A RARE UNUSED EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT ROSE IMPERFORATE.

Arguably one of the scarcest Canadian province stamps to obtain in unused condition. Unused examples are seldom encountered, with most known examples having faults to some degree (some quite extensive and/or repaired). We have offered only one other example in our 1981 Rarities Sale.
