1451   ImageLabrador Carrying Mallard Drake, Second Edition (RW26). Lithograph, signed Maynard Reece in pencil at bottom right and "Labrador Retriever - 1959" in pencil at bottom left, image size 229 x 166mm on larger paper in a frame with RW26 mounted below, edges with light toning but the print itself is Very Fine, the Labrador Retriever depicted on the 1959 Issue was named King Buck and was a national champion dog, this is the only Duck stamp issue to depict a dog as its central theme, four editions of this print were issued, the first three differentiated mainly by the reeds to the left of the duck in King Buck's mouth, Stearns and Fink value $4,000.00 (Image)

Two separate groups, first unused collection on stock pages missing just a couple from the run but all are present from RW1-19, some duplication including extras of RW3, 6 and 7, RW1-2 and a few others with plate no. selvage, largely hinged until the much later issues, nice centering, overall Fine-Very Fine, second group 47 different unused stamps between RW3-RW67, a few early issues with disturbed gum, balance largely Mint N.H., nearly all Fine-Very Fine

1453   Hunting Permit Accumulation. Album full of stock pages, each page crammed full of unused and used stamps, including approximately 70 copies of RW1, 58 of RW2, over 100 of RW3, 225 of RW4 (mostly used), similar quantities of RW5, RW6, RW7 and RW8, from there it tapers down to only 14 copies of RW9, back to higher quantities of RW10 with three plate blocks and over 130 singles, RW11 with eight plate blocks and over 180 singles, ends with RW13, many used, many of the unused are no gum, a sound stamp is the exception rather than the norm, still a worthwhile group, rough catalogue value exceeds $100,000.00
