EXTREMELY FINE. PERHAPS THE FINEST OF THE ELEVEN RECORDED 3-CENT AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT COVERS AND THE LATEST USE OF ANY DENOMINATION.

The Campbell census in Chronicle 194 (May 2002) lists only eleven 3c Agriculture covers among 23 intact covers in total for the department (this total does not include wrappers or labels). Illustrated in Chronicle 184 on p. 287 where it is described as a soft paper stamp.
