1164 ngbl ImageHAWAII, 1864, 2c Black, Laid (24). Plate 7-A, Types II-I-II/IV-III-IV/VI-V-VI/VIII (Westerberg Positions 2-1-2/4-3-4/6-5-6/8), inter-pane block of ten containing three stamps at left from the right side of one pane and seven stamps at right from the adjoining pane, unused (no gum), Type III (essentially the center stamp) with missing "I" of "INTER", few creases, sealed tear affects bottom right stamp, another entirely in selvage at right (easily trimmed)

VERY FINE APPEARANCE. AN IMPRESSIVE 1864 2-CENT NUMERAL MULTIPLE CONTAINING THREE STAMPS FROM ONE PANE AND SEVEN FROM ANOTHER, AND SHOWING THE MISSING "I" OF "INTER" VARIETY. THIS IS THE FIRST EXAMPLE OF THIS VARIETY WE HAVE OFFERED SINCE KEEPING COMPUTERIZED RECORDS.
