Bartels auction lot sheets with Bartels' pencil notes (2c and 2-1/2c marked "Same shade"), 10c Postage Due has tiny tear, otherwise all are sound

FRESH AND FINE EXAMPLE OF THE CUBA 10-CENT ON 10-CENT TYPE II SPECIAL PRINTING.

In March 1900 one pane of each denomination was prepared for the Paris and Pan-American Expositions. For the 10c the Type II design was used, and it is only known as a Special Printing.
