VERY FINE AND CHOICE. AN EXTREMELY RARE SOUND VERTICAL PAIR OF THE ONE-CENT PLAYING CARDS IMPERFORATE. THIS IS THE FINEST MULTIPLE IN TERMS OF MARGINS AND CONDITION.

Aside from the reconstructed block of four offered in lot 319, a pair is the largest recorded multiple. Two horizontal pairs and five vertical pairs are recorded.
