2543   The Extraordinary Balance of the Santiago Cruz International Large Gold Medal Collection of Antioquia, 1886-1904. A marvelous assemblage consisting of many hundreds of items still on the informative exhibition pages, with many elusive and desirable items found throughout, with unused stamps being found as singles and in multiples, used stamps are found the same way, with a plethora of scarce town cancels that have all been identified, some multiples are noted as the largest known, varieties abound with imperforates, imperforate between errors, foldover errors and centers omitted (1896-1897 2p and 5p values), many bisect usages on piece, the various provisional typeset issues are found in a wonderful array of complete settings, all issues represented for the time period, unused and original gum items found throughout, as to be expected on such a highly specialized collection there are some items with small faults, but overall the condition is Fine to Very Fine, a lot that would take years to replicate, we highly recommend potential bidders to review the complete scans we have provided of this exceptional collection, Scans of the entire collection (17.0mb) can be found at http://www.siegelauctions.com/2014/1086/pdf/2543.pdf
