Oct. 3" double-circle datestamp in same position on uncancelled 3c Red Star Die entire to West Hampton Mass., part of 3c margin torn away to show traces of 5c, minor opening tears, otherwise Very Fine, a note from Brian M. Green accompanies in which he opines that the sender was at Andersonville prison, however subsequent information shown to us indicates this was more likely a civilian flag-of-truce cover and not Andersonville, in any event an intriguing cover worth further research (Image)
