"2nd Notice Apr. 19, 1900" and manuscript "It could not be delivered, because the addressee moved from the Hotel Inglaterra", Very Fine, an unusual use colorfully and correctly paying the 5c rate plus 8c registry fee plus 10c for special delivery, especially unusual with the two 1c Bureau stamps in different colors (it was changed to green to conform to UPU regulations) (Image)

Jun. 5 9AM 1894 " circular datestamps on cover to Yokohama, Japan, addressed to the U.S. Flag Ship, bold strike of "25/CTMS/T" postage deficiency handstamp, Japan, 1882, 10s Brown Orange (79) used as postage due, part imprint, cancelled by "NIN T" in circle handstamp, backstamps incl. San Francisco, Yokohama (June 25) and Nagasaki (June 28) and so apparently forwarded to Nagasaki, stamps with few flaws from placement at edge of cover, reduced at left, Very Fine, unusual use, this was over the UPU weight limit and charged 10 sen due (Image)

May 11 12:30PM 1893" duplex cancel on Germany 10pf Postal Card which originated in Magdeburg, Germany, on March 10, sent to Japan, U.S., Gibraltar and back to Germany, sent first to Japan where 5s stamp applied (April 16 Yokohama transit backstamp and stamp cancelled on April 17), then forwarded to the United States (May 2 San Francisco transit backstamp), the 2c Columbian was applied (May 11) for forwarding to Gibraltar where 25c stamp applied (May 25) for registered forwarding postage for the final trip back to Magdeburg in Germany (May 30 arrival marking), remarkably pristine condition for a round-the-world card, small corner creases, Very Fine (Image)
