Two binders of approximately 215 covers, all but about 15 used from towns in Massachusetts, mix of imperforate and perforated issues with a few better incl. Nos. 25 and 26A, group includes a large number of attractive pre-printed return covers to the Secretary of the Commonwealth for town surveys of "indigent children under 14 years" and "lists of paupers", many of these with double-rate frankings, range of marking types with some colored cancels, incl. green and ultramarine, other better incl. a beautiful small-size Valentine, one used with Blood's local, nice condition, Very Fine group
