2879 P2 imageAustria, Newspaper Stamp, 1851 (6kr) yellow Mercury (Scott P2), tied by straightline "Zwettl/ 18 Mai" onto an address label on a full newspaper, the 17 May 1856 edition of the Vienna Morgen-Post; the stamp, according to the accompanying certificate: has full top and bottom margins but is "strongly cut in at right and very strongly cut in at left"; additionally there is a "vertical crease…the color is pale, the image is difficult to recognize". Still a very presentable example of this Great Rarity, with 2000 Ferchenbauer certificate.
