1088   imageHindenburg Crash, certified copy of record of death certificate, dated May 6, 1937 for steward Julius Max Schulze, age unknown, place of death "Naval Air Station", cause of death "zeppelin explosion, severe burns", signed by Registrar of vital statistics, date issued May 10, 1937 in Manchester, Ocean County, New Jersey, includes German marriage papers for he and his betrothed on October 7, 1935, includes 7 photos including several of himself and of the memorial, an interesting and original piece of one of the most well-known disasters of all time; age wear from creases and tape stains, fascinating and museum class item, the only item we have ever seen of this nature.

The Hindenburg's bartender, he had been part of the Zeppelin family since the beginning of 1936. Born June 4, 1877 in Weissenfels, Thüringen. In October of 1935, he married Marie-Anne Eugenie Alexandrine Wisniewski in Hamburg. He had been a steward and bartender for the Hamburg-Amerika steamship line for many years, always hoping to be a part of the Zeppelin, the Graf did not have a bar, so it was not until the Hindenburg was commissioned with a state-of-the-art bar that he was hired to man it.
