385 1 imageItalian States: Naples, 1858, Arms, ½g pale lake (Scott 1), 2gr internal use from Lagonegro to Naples: two well-margined pairs tied to face of folded lettersheet, each with rectangular double-framed "ANNULLATO", below dispatch oval framed "LAGONEGRO" in black, and a small manuscript "Franca"at left, reverse side red straight-line "NAPOLI 1858 / 14 GIU" arrival postmark; the stamps were removed and the cover has been restored, removing age stains, the stamps were heavily oxidized likely from humid environs and were also restored by applying a reducing agent that returned some of the original color but losing some of its clarity, handsome Very Fine appearance, a very rare item, with 2015 Sismondo certificate.
