18 645 image1931, Wilkins-Ellsworth Trans-Arctic Submarine Expedition (Scott 645), registered airmail cover with Hubert Wilkins autograph and dual-franking: U.S. 2¢ Valley Forge (645) tied by New York May 3, 1931 duplex postmark and showing expedition cachet, originally sent from New York to Norway, where it was re-franked with Norway 60o (128), which is tied by two Bergen 4.VIII.31 datestamps, and sent back to the U.S., New York & Buffalo receiving datestamps on reverse, Very Fine.
