Impressive and desirable old time collection neatly presented on album pages; as most of the stamps appear to have been put away in this collection for many decades, the color and freshness is simply amazing; highlights include a Scott #1 with manuscript cancel; choice used examples of #'s 17, 38, and 67 in the used classics; plus decent 1869 Pictorials including #120 along with some better Banknote issues; the mint hinged begin with 1880's Banknote issues 206-217, 1893 Columbians 230-239, some attractive 1895 Bureau's including 277 (torn); Back of book include E1, plus better Postage Due and Officials, including J19-J21, J24-25, and J35-37, O12, plus Interior complete O15-O24, O38, O58, O60, complete Treasury O72-82, and nice War Dept O87-93; plus there are some scarcer early Newspaper stamps, plus a complete set of PR102-125; the collection ends with a small group of Confederate States issues; the quality is decent, but the most impressive feature is how incredibly fresh all the stamps are; a worthwhile group of stamps.
