LotNo. Symbol CatNo. Lot Description
2746 /o   Worldwide, Magnificent Selection of Former "Single Lots" from the 1960's. If there is one lot in this sale certainly not to miss, gentlemen, it is this one. The lot is comprised of 2 shoeboxes tightly packed with 3x5 manila stockcards in glassines, nearly all comprised of premium, mostly all mint sets, with noted Scott numbers and often with the sale date (mostly early to mid 1960's), or corresponding cut out from the auction catalog. We find scores of items from Siegel, H.R. Harmer, Mozian, Fred Rich, Hugh Barr, Stolow, Harmer-Rooke and others. It would be a completely fruitless attempt to list all the "better" items, as the list would fill pages. A brief synopsis shows incredible offerings from the British Empire, Germany plus Colonies, Occupations and Offices, Italy and Colonies, Canada, Iran, Latin America with especially strong airmails, Scandinavia, San Marino, and much, much more, with scores of sets and singles cataloging into the hundreds of dollars. An enormous aggregate catalog value, as the appreciation in value has been incredible over the last 50 years. Nice quality is the rule, as these items have remained untouched since then. Please review carefully, and leave plenty of time for the same; a magnificent lot!
