An attractive collection in a stockbook with stamps identified by Michel catalogue, and value concentrated in the classic period, starting with 1863 Tughra of Sultan Abdul-Aziz (1 x4, 2 x5, 3 x3, 4 x2, J1 x3, J2, J3 x2, including. one with Ferchenbauer certificate, J4, used), followed by "Duloz" examples issued in the 1865-76 period, including 1865 (13), 1869-73 "Duloz" issues with 13½ perforation, 5 to 11 perforation & 12 or 12½ perforations, and 1874-76 "Duloz" surcharges. The Ottoman Empire section with many stamps, including a fair group of scarce 1911 Monastir & Pristina stamps. We also noted several other better sets & singles such as 1914 (254-70, plus additional 200pi value in used condition), 1914 (278-84, mint), 1915 (286-87), followed by 1915-16 crescent moon and star issues, 1917 beetle overprints & 1919 Armistice 1Pia (Michel 652). Presented in a Lindner album with duplication, starting with 1863 "Tughra" of Sultan Abdul-Aziz examples (1 x5, 2 x4 & 4 x2, plus J1-2 & J4, used), followed by 1865-76 Duloz issues representation, and then by Ottoman Empire issues produced in the 1876-90 period. We also noted many sets and part sets issued in the early 20th Century, including stamps with Arab "B" overprint for "Behie" meaning "discount", 1915-16 issues with crescent moon and star overprints, followed by a large group of 1917 issues with beetle overprints in mint condition, plus postal tax, semipostals, airmails, officials and some modern issues. 2678 /o/   Ukraine, Mostly Mint Assortment. Including a stock book loaded with Russian stamps with trident-shaped emblem overprints, taken from the arms of the Grand Prince Volodymyr and adopted as the device of the Ukranian Republic in 1918, and highly recommended for specialist. We also noted several approval books with singles, pairs & blocks of four issued in the 1918-20 period, an uprated postal envelope with 3k imperforate showing a trident overprint, plus an address panel to Poland and franked with two stamps exhibiting trident overprints. As a bonus there is a 1956 Sonder Catalogue, and a photocopy of a 1927 Russian catalogue, Fine to Very Fine.
