Honduras, Consular Revenue Stamp Proofs, 1942-67. One-of-a-kind group made by American Bank Note Company, comprising eight die proofs (10¢, 50¢, $1, $10, $25 & $50) in six different colors, and mounted on index cards, including two with "approved" backstamps. We also noted $25 die proof in black mounted on thick card, $10 plate proofs on thick card (block of four in brown) & $25 plate proofs on thick card (block of eight & block of six in orange), plus five small photo die proofs finished in 1951. The lot is accompanied by numerous original file folders with interesting and previously unveiled information. The kind of opportunity that specialized collectors have been waiting.for, Very Fine.
