1900 627//921 United States, Outstanding Dealer's Commemorative Plate Block Inventory (Scott 627//921). Tremendous selection of United States plate blocks, much nicer than usually found, beginning with #643 with some range in quantities up to about ten of an item or set, espied were wide top margins as well as very fine or better, Washington Bi-Centennial with at least several sets, Famous Americans again several sets and singles, Overrun Nations at least 12 sets, a few later stragglers, the majority of these plate blocks are in Very Fine or better condition, very useful and a valuable holding worth well in excess of our modest estimate.

1905   United States, Civil War Correspondence. Excellent correspondence of Civil War letters and ephemera, includes thirty five letters from the Civil War and a few later, with seven patriotic envelopes and nine patriotic lettersheets, one hand drawn lettersheet, may be more than one correspondence, many interesting letters on camp life and war news, one letter discusses death of General Larder, another the efforts of rebel General Buckner, one discusses guarding guerrillas, one letter in particular reads "…We had a good turkey for New Years. There were some young gall fetched it. And I good raisin puddin. And lots of other good things. We take some n----- gall and n----- provisions on n----- and the boys had lots of fun…", also includes three pension letters and one promotion to corporal notice, a few letters faded, needs much more research, perfect lot for the Civil War specialist, please inspect, Fine to Very Fine.
