933 /()   imageGreat Britain, Mint Collection, 1840-1977. Powerful mint/unused collection on Scott Specialty album pages; highlights are too numerous to mention — suffice to say that there are 73 different Queen Victoria, the King Edward VII issues lack only the £1 and the King George V period is missing only a 10s Seahorse and the £1 P.U.C. The collection is similarly virtually complete for KGVI & QEII (including the phosphors) and the Postage Dues are also complete. As to condition, the pre-1880 issues are generally mixed and many are lacking original gum, though most appear Fine and a surprising number of $100-$500 values are actually o.g. and quite nice. From 1880 onward, while there are some flaws, especially on the highest values, the vast majority are o.g. and Fine to Very Fine, with never hinged beginning in 1962 (plus a few earlier). All-in-all, a very impressive collection.
SG £75,000 ($120,750).
Scott $65,000.
Estimate $7,500 - 10,000. (Image) (Image2) (Image3) (Image4) (Image5) (Image6) (Image7) (Image8) (Image9) (Image10)

934 o   imageGreat Britain, Used Collection, 1840-1902. Small collection of 85 mostly different; begins with seven 4-margin Penny Blacks and includes #2, 4 (3 pairs), 5 (2), 6, 7, 22, 24-26, 28, 34-43, 46, 48-54, 56, 69, 70, 73, 74, 109, 110, 141 & 142; typical mixed condition, especially on the highest values, but a surprising number are sound and Fine or better. Definitely worth a look.

An excellent holding of these very scarce stamps. Definitely worth a careful look.
