1924 /o/   image [German States] Thurn and Taxis, Specialized Collection, Mint and used moderately to mostly complete collection on homemade pages showing each of the printings for Northern and Southern District along with covers showing various usages along the way, with used 1/3sgr black on buff from first issue of Northern District, Northern District 1859 issue with 1/4sgr, several 1/2sgr, 5sgr on cover to France, 1/3sgr 1865 rouletted used stamp, a couple examples of 3sgr bister rouletted in colored lines used, Southern District 3kr black on dark blue on cover, 6kr imperf rose on cover, 1kr & 3kr black on light green & blue on cover, 3kr & 6kr black on blue & rose on cover, 1kr & 3kr, black on light green & blue on cover, 9kr black on brownish yellow pair on cover, 3kr imperf blue and 6kr imperf rose on cover, 9kr imperf yellow pair on cover, 3kr imperf blue single on cover, 30kr imperf orange single, 15kr imperf lilac on cover, stampless preprinted C.O.D. cover and more to complete the history of Thurn and Taxis philately. Mixed condition should be expected, with centering VG to VF. Lots of higher catalog value stamps along the way with values up to several hundred dollars. A very nice collection assembled to tell a concise story of stamps issued by this early postal monarchy.and intersting.
