ONE OF ONLY 9 RECORDED EXAMPLES OF THE 5¢ CARMINE PERF. 10 ERROR ON COVER. THIS IS THE ONLY RECORDED USE WITH THE DOUBLE ERROR.
This cover was used only one
week after the earliest known use of May 22nd 1917. The cover offered here was not included in the September 1984 B.I.A. article by Larry Weiss, in which he records only eight covers bearing the 5c Carmine Perf 10 error. All of those are single error
