Sam Houston Philatelics next auction will close on Wednesday, July 01, 2020
at 1:00 PM, Central Time. The sale contains 545 lots, with material in all
price ranges and something for everyone, collectors and dealers alike,
including a selection of graded items in US, B.O.B and Federal Duck stamps.
A few of the highlights include the following:
UNITED STATES, There are (107) U.S. lots, with a few early issues
including a vertical pair of no. 10, the scarce Plum shade of no. 11 and a
nice copy of no. 16. There are (19) lots of Exposition and Issues
(Columbian through Pan-Pacific). The late 1890's and early 20th Century
issues total (34) lots, mostly 1922 Regular Issues wtih full panes of
Vermont Sesquicentennial and 2¢ Burgoyne Campaign, . The 1930 to Date
section has (17) Graded stamps, including (4) GEM 100!
COVERS, There are (50) cover lots; (17) Commercial covers, including
an E7 Special Delivery, an A.C. Roessler cover for Lindbergh's 1st flight
to Canal Zone, and a C14 ($1.30 Zeppelin) on flown cover. Also, there is a
selection of (33) First Day covers, including no. 644 2¢ Burgoyne Campaign
Pair on Albert Gorham FDC and a 5¢ United Nations Conference with L.W.
Staehle cachet.
AIRMAIL AND BACK OF BOOK ISSUES, contains (35) lots of Airmails and
Back of Book issues, including (5) Graded issues with (2) GEM-100; a few
Newspaper issues, including a PR111 with certificate; and an RB18c.
ERRORS, FREAKS & ODDITIES, a 1/2 dozen lots with a selection of
Imperforates and Mis-perforations.
GENERAL FOREIGN & COLLECTIONS, (50) lots from a variety of countries,
including several Canadian issues, Germany's B33 IPOSTA S/S and wonderful
Bahamas & Greece collections.

DUCK STAMPS AND CONSERVATION STAMPS (Federal, Junior and State)

Duck items, (14) Plate Number Singles, (89) Federal Duck issues, including
(23) Graded; (4) Mini-sheets; (18) Errors, Freaks, and Oddities, about (22)
Federal and State Artist Signed; a selection of (50) State duck stamps,
(22) Governor's Edition lots, and (13) Conservation and Fishing items. The
sale ends with a selection of (12) prints; two Federal including a gorgeous
RW9 print; and (10) State Duck Prints with six 1st of State for Idaho,
