Collection of South Pacific Island First Day Covers, all neatly displayed in a new leather binder with slipcase, with covers from Niue (x104) and Cook Islands (x94). We note some duplication but a good quantity of 1937 Coronation covers, many with scarce to rare cachets, as well as other FDC for singles and sets, mostly from the 1930s to 1960s. Many items were mailed, some of those registered. A few items have toning or discolouration, still an overall very fine group, with many desirable items. 41 online photos show a small sampling.

Group of 29 Interesting Ukraine and Russia Related Covers, 1919-1956, with 5 Ukrainian displaced persons covers, ranging from 1946 to 1949 (4 of the covers appear to be from the German-Soviet Allied Zone, and 1 from the German-French Zone), along with second world war related covers, with German censor tapes and markings, a 1943 post card with reply card intact from the Barth-Holz concentration camp to Ukraine, and a Russian anti-Nazi propaganda cover. The lot also includes a few Ukraine covers from 1919 to 1922 with Trident overprint frankings, a 1934 Russia airmail cover to the United States, mailed from Kharkov Ukraine (paying 70K rate), along with some registration covers, and interesting frankings.
