2319 NH   756-65, 1935 1c-10c Imperf Park set,original o.g., in the early 1930's Harold Ickes (Secretary of Dept. of Interior) purchased a set of imperforated Park sheets and sent them to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing to be gummed. Subsequently, the sheets were broken up and given as gifts to his stamp collecting friends, except for a few sets which were kept for his personal collection, including a full series of covers, containing blocks of the gummed imperforates which were presented as a gift to Franklin D. Roosevelt, each stamp has individual 2015 PSE certificates and a photocopy of the original affidavit letter on Department of Interior letterhead, 5c with natural gum crease and 10c with small gum skip. An interesting bit of history, overall Very Fine (Scott $136.25)
