CANADA, Neat homemade pages in a Ceres album begins with earlier issues (mixed condition) including #14, 15, 17, 18, 19, & 20 followed by abundant large queens, small queens, some diamond jubilee, maple leafs, and the complete set of
numerals. Some are mint; most, used. Once the Edward VII issues begin, much of the remaining collection is mint up through the early 1980s where it ends. Plenty of air mail, postage due, etc. is included. A second, loose-leaf Scott's album on mixed
pages running into the early 2000s begins with the Elizabeth II issues containng substantial material including tagging varieties, booklets, and so forth. A three-ring binder is loaded with black stock pages holding a substantial amount of issues,
all mint starting with #96 and running into the early 2000s. Additionally there are complete year sets in their original presentation books, most still sealed, for 1983, 1987-91, and 1994-7. There is a large envelope stuffed with postal stationary,
FDCs, additional mint sets, and more. Finally, there are two shoe boxes filled with glassines containing duplicate material arranged by Scott numbers starting with some small queens and running past the #700s before picking up semi-postals, air
mails, postage due, and officials; a quick check shows mint material mixed in with used. This entire lot is a treasure hunt. |
